Keeping a record for a week of how much time I spend reading (see previous post).
On Sunday I read for two hours when I woke up – Gareth Morgan’s Images of Organisation.
On Monday read half an hour in the morning ( The Old Wives Tale, by Arnold Bennett, a book I have been avoiding for nearly forty years…) and for about 40 minutes before going to sleep ( Our Mutual Friend by Charles Dickens).
This morning, Tuesday, I have read Our Mutual for half an hour.
